I am a senior web developer for the University of Akron -- since January of 2007. I facilitate university departments web programming needs, with a heavy emphasis in form/database work. I'm involved (to a lesser extent) in the graphic, layout and design aspect of developing. Of note, recent projects include studying and implementing different aspects of web usability, pushing web 2.0 boundaries with the jQuery JavaScript library, and exploring Google products and their applicability in various web projects.
In my time, I am a freelance web developer, graphic artist, photographer and sound/lighting engineer. In my free time, I am a hand drummer, playing cajon and djembe with some great musician family and friends here in the area. I thoroughly enjoy rollerblading in the summer and downhill skiing in the winter. With guilt, I admit that I'm a video game connoisseur.
